Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate students and deliver therapy in the school setting, following individualized plans and physician orders. This contract–full time role is based in Muskegon, MI, with a pay rate of $55 per hour and a typical 33 hours per week.

The role requires active licensure as an SLP in the state, CCC-SLP preferred, compliance with standards, and any required health or safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract/state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate students and provide therapy services.
• Documentation of therapy services in accordance with each plan of care.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
