Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing currently seeks a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract - full time position in El Paso, TX. The SLP will evaluate students and provide therapy services in accordance with individual plans and physician orders.

Qualified candidates must hold active SLP licensure in the assignment state; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with professional standards and CPR as applicable.
• TB test or chest X-ray and health certificate per contract/regulation.
• Must meet federal, state, and local requirements, and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care.
• Document progress and coordinate with physician orders.

Location: El Paso, TX

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
