Amergis, a healthcare staffing partner, seeks a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our client-facing team in Clinton Township, MI. The role focuses on student evaluations and delivering therapy services in the school setting according to each plan of care and physician orders.

This contract-full-time position offers $70 per hour and a 35-hour work week. The SLP will document therapy progress and collaborate with school staff to support student goals.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as SLP in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB screening or chest X-ray where required.
• Health certificate current per contract/state regulations.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
