Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for placement in Belleville, MI. This contract-full-time role focuses on evaluating students and delivering and documenting therapy in the school setting per the care plan and physician orders.

Licensure in the state is required; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by state or contract. Benefits include health/vision/dental and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Follows all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and provide therapy services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Document therapy services and progress as per physician orders.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
