Job summary

Amergis seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and support students with speech, language, and communication needs in Wisconsin. You will develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote academic, social, and functional success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC/CF certification preferred or to be pursued.
• Licensed SLP in Wisconsin (DPI) required or eligible.

Job description

Provides assessment, intervention, and consultative services to support students with speech, language, and communication needs. Evaluates communication skills, develops and implements individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals, and collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote academic, social, and functional success. Maintains accurate documentation, monitors student progress, and ensures compliance with special education requirements while fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF).
• Valid Wisconsin DPI Speech and Language Pathologist License (1820).
• Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, intervention strategies, and special education requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, staff, and community partners while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
