Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support young learners in a daycare center setting in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will work with 36-40 students during the academic year, delivering targeted speech and language services onsite.

The role emphasizes assessments, IEP goal development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active SLP license; CFY applications welcome.
  • Experience or strong interest with early childhood or school-age populations.
  • Familiarity with individualized therapy plans and progress monitoring.
  • Confidence in assessments and developing IEP goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a 35-hour weekly caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to daycare students, building communication, articulation, and language skills.
  • Complete documentation for assessments, progress notes, and individualized plans per school/state rules.
  • Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and specialists to maximize student support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with families on progress communications.
  • Create an engaging, inclusive environment tailored to each child's needs.
