Qualifications

Job description

Seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel position in a public school district, working with students K-12.

• Provide diagnosis and therapeutic intervention for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with general and special education staff, parents, and administrators.
• Work with students using augmentative and adaptive communication devices and strategies.
• Develop and write Individual Education Programs (IEPs), including measurable goals and behavioral language objectives.
• Participate as a key team member in the IEP process.
• Maintain CCCs in SLP; knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to students with disabilities.
• Qualifications include a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and possibly educator certification.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and working with diverse student needs is preferred.
