The Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Inc. is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy in an educational setting with a caseload of about 50 students.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, AZ licensure and CCC from ASHA, with opportunities to collaborate with teachers and participate in IEP meetings while supporting students’ communication development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• AZ state licensure is required for school practice.
• Educator’s Certificate is required.
• CCC from ASHA is required or eligible.

Job description

Role:

School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing therapy services in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 students. Support from an onsite SLPA is available.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, AZ state license, Educator’s Certificate, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Preferred experience in school, early childhood, or pediatrics, with strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain confidential student records.
