Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting to assess, diagnose and treat speech and language disorders. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, and monitor progress to adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Qualifications

Job description

Role:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech and communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students' academic and social development and offer training on speech therapy strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, valid SLP license in the state, and CCC from ASHA. Preferred experience in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics, with strong knowledge of speech development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
