Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in the Dorchester area of Boston is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a school district on a contract, full-time basis.

The role focuses on evaluations, individual and group therapy, IEP collaboration, progress documentation, and close work with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Massachusetts licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Massachusetts DESE license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
