An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support the communication needs of students in an engaging elementary school environment. This role focuses on providing specialized services to a diverse caseload, ensuring that each student receives the necessary tools to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure cohesive support for students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing effective strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school culture.

Qualifications

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on school settings.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in the PreK-2nd grade range.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
