Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Columbia, SC is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contracted academic year. This onsite position supports students across diverse needs and focuses on communication development.

The assignment runs August 1, 2026 through May 29, 2027, averaging 35 hours per week with a single caseload. The SLP will conduct assessments, develop and monitor IEPs, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP credentials (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain state credential prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct therapy to a varied caseload, adjusting approaches to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation and progress reporting in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines.
