Job summary
A leading therapeutic school is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to deliver mandated speech/language services and develop IEP goals for students with special needs. This role requires a Master's degree in speech/language pathology, Illinois State license, and experience working with special needs populations. The Speech/Language Pathologist will collaborate with classroom teams and provide support throughout the academic year, ultimately helping students achieve independence.
Qualifications
Experience working with special needs populations necessary.
Responsibilities
Deliver speech/language services as mandated on student IEPs.
Develop appropriate IEP goals based on assessment results.
Submit quarterly progress reports to the clinical coordinator.
Participate in all classroom team meetings on caseload.
Provide and document directly/consult therapy minutes as required.
Skills
Ability to multi-task in a high stress environment
Ability to interact with diverse personalities
Education
Master’s Degree in speech/language pathology
Illinois State license
Completion of required clinical hours for degree/license
