Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a 41-week assignment in Puyallup, WA. This role involves evaluating and treating K–12 students across speech, language, fluency, voice, and social-communication domains.

You will develop goals, document services, participate in IEPs and multidisciplinary teams, support AAC systems, and collaborate with teachers and families to integrate communication strategies in the classroom.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
  • Active WA State SLP license and ESA Certification.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP or qualifying clinical fellowship status.
  • Successful completion of required background checks and state/district requirements.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Out-of-state reciprocity or temporary credential requirements.

Position Overview
