Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in The Bronx, New York. The role is 35 hours per week, with a 7-hour daily shift (8am - 3:30pm) and travel between school sites as assigned.

This contract emphasizes delivering compliant, high‑quality SLP services within a school setting. Ideal candidates hold NYS CCC and TSSLD/TSHH certifications, a MA in SLP, and have experience with ASD, AAC/PECS, and ABA concepts; local licensure and DOE

Qualifications

• NYS CCC required for eligibility.
• NYS TSHH or TSSLD certification required.
• MA in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• At least 6 months of ABA experience with children with ASD.
• Knowledge of AAC systems, including PECS.
• ABA knowledge is highly preferred.
• Cannot have worked with the DOE within 1 year.

• This is a contract position.

• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• NYS Certification of Clinical Competency required
• NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required
• MA Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
• At least 6 months experience employing behavior analytic principles with children with ASD
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) highly preferred
• Cannot have worked with the DOE within 1 year
