Responsibilities

• Complete social assessments for special education considerations.
• Implement therapeutic strategies for behavior and social interaction changes.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students and families.
• Provide parent/guardian training on child development and communication.
• Collaborate with staff on strategies to promote learning.
• Participate in IEP/MTSS teams to develop interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention services.
• Maintain clinical records and prepare reports per program standards.
• Complete risk assessments on referred students.
• Complete functional behavior assessments and classroom observations.
• Liaise with community agencies to foster school/community communication.
• Locate and mobilize community resources to support the program.
• Engage in professional development and adhere to district policies.
