Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or social work.
• 1+ years of counseling or case worker experience.
• Arizona LBSW, LMSW or ADE PreK-12 Social Worker Certificate.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License by time of hire.
• Preferred: 3 years of counseling or social work experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish communication between school staff, parents, students and agencies; act as liaison between teacher and student.
• Meet students one-on-one, in small groups, and in class settings to address social and emotional issues.
• Interpret student data to develop and implement supportive plans.
• Develop, monitor and adjust treatment or service plans as needed.
• Coordinate with faculty on training based on data from interventions.
• Provide consultation and coordinate resources to students, staff and parents.
• Utilize counseling techniques to meet student needs and plan training.
