Job summary

Somerton Elementary School District 11 is seeking a Social Worker for the Central Office in Somerton, AZ. This 9-month, exempt position starts immediately and includes full benefits. Salary range starts at $50,132 and goes to $53,892, DOE; up to 5 years experience recognized.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required for social work
• ADE Social Worker Certification required
• Experience preferred in school settings

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to address social-emotional needs
• Coordinate special education evaluations and IEP meetings
• Develop and monitor intervention and behavior support plans
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community agencies
• Report suspected child abuse/neglect as required by law
