Job summary

Concord Community Schools in Indiana is seeking a licensed School Social Worker to provide a comprehensive system of supportive services within the school community, helping students overcome social or emotional barriers to learning and supporting successful post-secondary transitions.

You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to develop referral services, lead life-skills programs, conduct psychoeducation with students, and connect families with appropriate community

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work required.
Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with groups of students and parents.
Ability to plan and organize, good work habits.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrators, teachers, and school staff.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with administrators on services provided to students and families.
Collaborate with administration and teachers on systems related to students' development of the skills and dispositions contained in the district's Portrait of a Graduate.
Lead school life skills development initiatives and psychoeducation with students.
Provide a system of support to help students be successful in the classroom, at school, and at home.
Maintain professionalism and schedule meetings convenient to families, including evenings.
