Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• LMSW or LCSW licensure in Maryland.
• Experience with school-age children and adolescents preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA, and special education frameworks.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education evaluations and planning.
• Connect students and families to community resources and support services.
• Identify and report suspected child abuse or neglect per mandated reporter guidelines.
• Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and progress reports.
