Responsibilities

• Provide direct social-emotional support to students; prioritize IEPs.
• Support students with MTSS framework for behavioral concerns.
• Represent social-emotional aspects in Service Team meetings.
• Develop behavioral interventions and Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Prepare Social Developmental Studies addressing social-emotional status.
• Provide interventions for students in crisis.
• Collect data and maintain records on student wellbeing.
• Address parent concerns and connect to community resources.
• Advocate for students with staff and administration.
• Mobilize school and community resources to assist students.
• Consult with staff on social-emotional concerns.
• Assist teachers with classroom interventions.
• Coordinate contact with community resources.
• Provide professional training and community education.
• Other duties as assigned.
