Job summary

Health Source Group is seeking a qualified School Social Worker to support students\' social, emotional, and behavioral health in New Jersey schools. This is an hourly, contract, in-person role with school-hour schedules.

Responsibilities include psycho-social assessments, counseling, IEP/504 participation, liaison between school, family, and community, and crisis prevention. Requires MSW and NJDOE certificate; travel between districts may be needed; bilingual candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program.
• NJDOE School Social Worker Certificate (Required).
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Provide counseling to students (individual and group).
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings; CST support where applicable.
• Serve as liaison between school, home, and community agencies.
• Assist in crisis prevention and response.
• Document all services in accordance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to promote a positive learning environment.
