An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to provide counseling services to students with disabilities. This role involves working in diverse settings, offering assessment and case management, and collaborating with educators to support student needs. Ideal candidates will possess a valid NYS School Social Worker certificate and have strong clinical experience. LOCATION: Special Education – Multiple Locations
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide social work counseling services in individual, group, and consultant settings, as directed by student Individual Education Programs. The student populations served include elementary, middle, and high school students identified with deafness, hard of hearing, or multiple disabilities. There is also potential to serve students with other disabilities. Sign language skills are preferred; however, training will be provided to strong candidates if necessary.
