Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a School Social Worker (LSW) experienced in pediatrics to work in select Lackawanna County School Districts. This role offers up to $55 per hour and follows school hours from Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) through the state of Pennsylvania; required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work; required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of student functioning, history, family structure, and cultural factors that influence learning.
• Develop interventions to improve student learning based on assessments.
• Develop intervention plans to meet student needs and cultural experiences.
• Assist in planning therapeutic, remedial, and behavioral modification activities.
• Provide crisis and emergency assistance including threat assessment participation.
• Provide direct interventions to students including individual and group therapy and counseling.
