Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC in Detroit, MI seeks a School Social Worker to support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.

You will provide counseling, collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams; assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination; maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current School Social Worker (SSW) license in Michigan.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success.
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination.

Education
