Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Montebello, CA is seeking a Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and academic success within a school setting. You will collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions and IEP goals.

You will provide counseling, crisis support, and resources to students while maintaining accurate documentation and participating in student support meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program.
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California
• School-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed
