Job summary

Skyline South Phoenix is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support PreK-12 students. You will assess needs, provide counseling, coordinate with families and community resources, and collaborate with the School Safety Team to remove barriers to learning.

Applicants must hold a Master's in Social Work, be eligible for Arizona School Social Worker certification, and have experience in school settings or practicum.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work is required.
• Arizona School Social Worker Certificate or eligibility is required.
• One year of full-time social work experience in a school setting, or a practicum with relevant coursework, is required.
• Valid AZDPS Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Reciprocity available for out-of-state social worker certificates; check AZED for details.

Responsibilities

• Develop school programs to reduce behavioral conflicts and improve attendance and SEL equity.
• Conduct assessments of individuals and families to inform interventions.
• Provide consultation to school staff, parents, and community partners.
• Act as liaison with community agencies to ensure continuity of services.
• Facilitate crisis response and follow-up referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidential records and adhere to licensing requirements.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary School Safety Team.
