As a School Social Worker, you will spend your day helping students navigate social, emotional, behavioral, and personal challenges that may impact their academic success and overall well-being. You will work closely with students, families, teachers, administrators, and other members of the school team to help create a supportive environment where students can thrive.
You will provide high-quality social work services based on students' individual needs and IEPs. Responsibilities may include providing individual and/or group counseling, conducting social-emotional assessments, supporting students with behavioral or social concerns, connecting families with community resources, participating in IEP meetings, and collaborating with school staff and families to develop effective support strategies.
