Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Social Worker to support students in Arlington, VA. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and contributes to IHP/IEP planning in a school setting.

Qualifications include an active School Social Worker license (SSW), possible MSW/LCSW, CPR where required, health certificate, TB/PPD, and compliance with state/federal requirements. This contract is full-time with 35 hours weekly and pay at $40 per hour.

The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinaryteam and provides input in the development of the IHP/IEP for studentsrequiring social work intervention and support in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Holds a Professional Educator License with School SocialWorker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and/or facility
• May be required to have MSW or LCSW per state, contract orfacility
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
