Job summary

Amergis, a healthcare staffing provider, seeks a School Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a contract-to-full-time role in Baltimore, MD. The social worker will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support IHP/IEP development for students needing social work intervention in the school setting.

Required are a MSW and an active LCSW/LICSW license, with experience with children and families, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and strong case management and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field.
• Active and unrestricted clinical social work license (LCSW/LICSW/LCSW-C or equivalent).
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families in educational or clinical settings.
• Knowledge of child/adolescent development, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements and HIPAA/FERPA compliance.

Pay: $50 / Hour

Hours: 35.00

Location: Baltimore, MD

The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinaryteam and provides input in the development of the IHP/IEP for studentsrequiring social work intervention and support in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy,Counseling, or a closely related behavioral health field
• Hold a current, active, and unrestricted clinical socialwork license recognized by the applicable state licensing authority, such asLCSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, or an equivalent credential
• Hold any additional credentials, certifications, licenses,or authorizations required for the assigned school-based role
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and familiesin educational, clinical, or community settings preferred
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development, crisisintervention, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, assessment,documentation, and case management skills
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Ability to comply with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
