Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support the Speech Language Pathologist in providing services across clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities within the plan of care.

The role requires SLPA program graduation with an associate or a bachelor’s in related field, plus supervised fieldwork hours and active licensure. Benefits include health, 401(k), and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
• Completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state/contract
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of practice
• One year of prior professional SLPA experience preferred
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services
• Engage in clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities within the assigned plan of care

Education
