Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for pre-k to 12 students. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to support communication development and academic success, with individualized intervention plans and ongoing progress monitoring.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, providing therapy, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Ohio license for school-based SLP or applicable credential.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA or eligibility for certification.
• Background checks completed per district requirements.
• Experience with IEP development and school-based service delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assess communication needs.
• Develop and monitor individualized IEP-based goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to individuals and small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to generalize skills.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
