Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• NYS certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) or Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) required.
• Experience working in a school or special education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and group speech and language therapy aligned with students' IEPs.
• Provide therapeutic services addressing speech, voice, language, and communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments, observations, and student histories.
• Develop and recommend individualized speech and language goals as part of the IEP process.
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
