Position Overview

• Caseload/Population: Elementary school students

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy and support to elementary-aged students, under the supervision of an SLP for SLPA roles
• Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment, adapting strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings to provide input and adjust therapy plans in line with student needs

Qualifications

• California licensure as an SLPA or SLP required
• Bachelor's degree (for SLPA) or Master's degree (for SLP) in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
