Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in school-based settings. You’ll help students strengthen communication skills so they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Based in Ellicott City, MD, you’ll conduct evaluations, develop therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers and families to support IEP goals and progress reporting. Competitive salary and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students.
• Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and AAC needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, OTs, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and progress discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and recommendations.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving educational goals.
