Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Albany, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support students with communication and learning needs in a dynamic school community. The contract position involves onsite direct therapy, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in IEP meetings, with a caseload of about 40–50 students and a structured 32.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current NY SLP license in good standing.
• CCC-SLP certification and DOE TSHH/TSLD preferred.
• DOE certification (TSHH or TSSLD) required or highly preferred.
• Prior school-based SLP experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and design individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
• Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support for students’ speech and language needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to optimize student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet special education regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student plans.
