Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
• Valid Texas License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Ability to work with school and community population
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Participate in ARD Committee and present speech and language goals by the licensed SLP supervisor.
• Plan and provide individual and group therapy per IEPs designed by the licensed SLP supervisor.
• Coordinate intervention with general education staff when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate data for each session on assigned caseload.
• Consult with parents and staff on speech-language development when required.
• Participate in staffings and district in-services.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
