Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Public Health, Human Services, Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years experience in education, law enforcement, or safety/security.
• Understanding of school safety practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication across multiple mediums with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support incident debriefings and maintain district incident logs.
• Oversee Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management Teams and provide training.
• Monitor anonymous reporting portal and ensure proper handling of reports.
• Coordinate with police, administrators, and partners for safety protocols.
• Investigate Title IX and related concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
• Develop reunification protocols and maintain MOUs with partners.
• Perform safety assessments and recommend improvements.
• Assist with security tech and access control monitoring.
• Manage Emergency Operations Plan and drills reporting.
• Provide safety education to middle/high students.
• Ensure compliance with CJIS and privacy laws.
