Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of law enforcement experience as a certified police officer.

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalent.
• Consent to a rigorous background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school property to prevent crime.
• Conduct training in areas of expertise.
• Conduct criminal investigations.
• Provide counseling to students and intervene with uncooperative students.
• Ensure a safe and orderly school environment.
• Report regularly and punctually to assigned work location and notify supervisor or designee of impending absence in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent, Chief of Police, or Assistant Superintendents.
