Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Business, Public Administration, or closely related field required.
• Five (5) years of law enforcement experience with two (2) years as Police Sergeant or higher required.
• POS T certification in good standing required; valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of SRO and CSO roles and K-12 educational climate.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and manages performance issues.
• Prepares work assignments and schedules staff meetings.
• Provides technical assistance and reviews documents for standards adherence; enforces guidelines.
• Attends meetings and collaborates with BOE, other agencies, and the public.
• Directs staff on procedures and protocols, and monitors performance.
