Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Law enforcement experience and/or military service strongly preferred.
• Must complete the Virginia DCJS SSO Certification Program after hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor school facilities and grounds to address safety concerns.
• Investigate suspicious behavior and security incidents.
• Assist with emergency preparedness activities including drills.
