Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a school safety monitor in Colchester, CT to support the safety and security of students, staff and visitors by assisting with supervision and monitoring of school facilities.

The role is non-union and hourly, with benefit eligibility. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in safety, security, or law enforcement, plus strong communication and the ability to stay calm in emergencies.
