Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of military, security, and/or law enforcement experience.
• PBLE certification required before employment; annual firearms qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school premises and surrounding streets to ensure safety.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and provide crisis management support.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview victims and suspects, and file reports.
• Enforce laws and school policies, including traffic control on campus.
• Conduct K-9 searches for illegal drugs when requested.
• Engage with students, staff, parents, and community partners to promote safe behavior.
• Monitor video surveillance and document incidents and investigations.
• Provide testimony in court for crimes against the school or personnel when needed.
• Deliver instruction on law enforcement topics and drug/alcohol awareness.

Education

Associate's degree in Criminal Justice

Bachelor's degree in Criminal/Juvenile Justice
