Job summary

Amergis seeks a School Registered Nurse to oversee student health care in a school setting. You will apply the nursing process, support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students, and coordinate with families, staff and healthcare providers.

This role requires an active RN license in Maryland, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and School Nurse Certification as needed. You will respond to emergencies, manage chronic conditions, and ensure safety and compliance with school policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract.
• One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting.
• Support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting.
• Promote health and safety, respond to medical emergencies, and manage chronic conditions.
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers.
