Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Minneapolis-area school district for the upcoming school year.

Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, maintain health records, and collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers to support student health and learning. Minnesota licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required; pediatrics or school-nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN or LPN license is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric, school nursing, clinics, or public health preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency medical response for students and staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and district policies.
• Monitor students with chronic and acute conditions and maintain health records.
• Develop and implement IHPs, EAPs, and other health documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers to support student health and learning.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.
• Promote health education, wellness initiatives, and disease prevention in the school community.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal health regulations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
