Job summary

Twin Rivers Unified School District is hiring a Police Officer/SRO to support school safety and district operations on site. This role reports to the police services administrator and works with site administration to monitor at‑risk students and provide one‑on‑one support to students and families.

The incumbent will enforce education and penal codes, participate in meetings, and perform related duties. Requires POS T Basic Academy and valid CA driver license, with 21+ by deadline.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old by the filing deadline.
• Two years prior law enforcement experience is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent and POS T Basic Academy are required.
• Associate Arts Degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the police services administrator and site administration.
• Perform school district police duties on school sites and district properties.
• Provide support for at‑risk students and one‑on‑one support for students/parents.
• Enforce applicable education and penal codes, district policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings and participate in program reviews.
