Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking two School Resource Officers for Bullitt County Schools in Shepherdsville, Kentucky for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will engage with students and staff to promote safety and provide law-related education.

Responsibilities include performing law enforcement tasks, supporting school functions, and monitoring campus security. Required qualifications include significant law enforcement experience and a high school diploma. A bachelor's degree is preferred. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet KRS 158.441 requirements for School Resource Officers.
• Extensive experience in law enforcement is required.
• Experience with school-based law enforcement is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with students and staff.
• Collaborate with faculty on law-related education.
• Report suspected child abuse to authorities.
• Assist with school safety functions and events.
