Qualifications

• At least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree may enhance compensation.
• Minimum of two years of SC certified law enforcement experience.
• SRO certification desirable; could enhance compensation.
• Valid SC driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Honorably discharged from the military if applicable.
• No pending cases or felony convictions; misdemeanors may require expungement.
• No THC or marijuana use within 365 days; other drugs may disqualify.
• No student loans in default.
• No criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Protect the learning environment within assigned schools.
• Respond to critical incidents and support safety operations.
• Assist with community events and weather-related safety efforts.
