This role is also responsible for accurate student database information and related reports.Essential FunctionsResponsible for the registration and withdrawal of students using registration system and student information system (Power School/Infinite Campus) while following process checklist providedRequests records for new students transferring from other schools and reviews records received, notifying appropriate school staff as neededSend student records to other schools upon request in a timely mannerEvaluates and verifies documentation submitted as required for enrollmentResponsible for the collection and entry of student data into school’s SIS (Power School/Infinite Campus) by importing data from enrollment system or manual entry when neededResponsible for monitoring and verifying enrollments when submitted in SchoolMintGenerates reports, class lists, and enters attendance alertsMaintains office and student cumulative files, keeping records current and following document maintenance guidelinesProcesses any changes to student information in a timely manner following process guidelinesMaintains an orderly, organized, and presentable office spaceMaintains grades and attendance databases and extracurricular activity records for all studentsMaintains database of student schedules, runs schedule reports and adjusts student schedules as necessaryProcesses and maintains daily student attendance records and ensures that all attendance from check in system (Raptor) is accurately reflected in student information systemAudits attendance daily to ensure accurate reportingPrepares report cards by grading periods and sends report cards electronicallyCollects and provides accurate enrollment numbers/information to the district office as requestedProvides information and assistance to new students and their parents, communicates regularly with families navigating the enrollment or re-enrollment processImports student list into Driveline system and prints Driveline signs to distribute to familiesAnswers and distributes phone calls as neededAssists in the preparation of bulletins, school calendars, brochures and other announcementsAttends all required school events as assigned by building administratorGenerates word processing and spreadsheet documentsAssists with the day-to-day operations of the schoolAttends all required trainings (online and in person)Works with building administrator to develop back up plan for any absences and provide any cross training neededKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESEducation, Licensure or CertificationHigh School Diploma or GEDWork Experience or Related Experience2 years’ experience in a clerical setting, school setting preferredPrior registrar experience preferredSpecialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:D etail- orientedProficient in utilizing data based management system (preferable a student information system such as Power School or Infinite Campus)Excellent organizational and time management skillsProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google SuiteAbility to remain self-directed as well independently seek out answers to questionsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to learn new software programs as neededAbility to constantly review policies and procedures to increase efficiencyAbility to work cooperatively with othersWork Environment and Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
