ProCare in California is seeking an experienced RN to lead and mentor the LVN educator program in a contract, full-time role based near Hayward. You will guide curriculum development, deliver instruction, and support educators within the program while ensuring compliance with state requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, a related degree, and is willing to pursue a California Teaching Credential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with an active California RN license.
• Coursework covering administration, teaching, and curriculum development.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a California Teaching Credential.
• Ability to meet Board of Vocational Nursing requirements for this role.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to obtain fingerprint clearance from DOJ and FBI.
• Educator CTC required or willingness to pursue.

Core qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and a current, active California RN license (candidates certified only as LVN are not eligible).
• Coursework completed at an approved institution covering administration, teaching, and curriculum development.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a California Teaching Credential (including Designated Subjects Credential with subject authorization in Nursing Services or Health Science and Medical Technology, Adult Education Credential, or an elementary/secondary credential).
• Ability to meet the minimum requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing for this role.
• A valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to obtain fingerprint clearance from both the Department of Justice and FBI.
• Educator CTC required or willingness to pursue.
